Our Addiction Treatment Center Locations

LGBTQ+ affirming mental health and drug rehab in Los Angeles and Chicago.

LGBTQ+ Rehab Programs for Addiction & Mental Health Treatment

No Matter What Recovery operates two LGBTQ+ affirming treatment centers, one in Los Angeles, California and one in Chicago, Illinois. Each location offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), virtual programming, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Both centers are led by clinicians with experience in chemsex recovery, trauma-informed care, and the specific stressors LGBTQ+ clients carry into treatment.

About Our Treatment Centers

No Matter What Recovery began in Los Angeles to fill a clear gap: the LGBTQ+ community needed a program that could treat substance use and mental health together, with clinicians who understood identity, trauma, and chemsex as part of the clinical picture rather than an afterthought. That same model now anchors two cities, with consistent leadership and clinical standards across both. You can read more about our team and approach on our About Us page.

Whether you’re walking into our Silver Lake building in Los Angeles or our Boystown facility in Chicago, the care model is the same. What changes is the city around it and the clinicians who know that city.

Los Angeles, California

Our flagship Los Angeles facility serves clients across Southern California with the full continuum of outpatient care: PHP, IOP, virtual evening IOP for working professionals, MAT under direct medical supervision, and a dedicated chemsex program led by our National Director. Care is Joint Commission accredited and integrates trauma-informed therapy, transgender-affirming services, and family support.

A separate licensed detox facility in the Mid-City area allows clients to step safely through withdrawal before transitioning into ongoing care.

Chicago, Illinois

Our Chicago center sits in the heart of Boystown, one of the most established LGBTQ+ neighborhoods in the country, and brings the same evidence-based, affirming care to clients across Illinois and the surrounding region. Programming includes daytime and evening intensive outpatient, virtual options, and on-site MAT with psychiatric oversight.

Clinicians here address the intersection of identity, trauma, and substance use, including minority stress and family-system dynamics that often go unspoken in standard rehab settings.
